Why Fans and Vents Collect So Much Dust
Ceiling fans constantly move air across their blades, and that airflow causes dust to cling to the blade surface over time, especially on the trailing edge. HVAC vents work similarly – air is either pushed out through supply vents or pulled in through return vents, and both processes deposit fine particulate on and around the vent cover. The more fans and vents a home has, and the more they’re used, the faster this buildup happens.
Height Changes the Whole Approach
A ceiling fan in a standard 9-foot room is a very different job than one in a two-story great room with a 20-foot ceiling. Fixtures that high may be out of reach for a standard visit. If your home has unusually high ceilings where fans or vents are installed, tell us when you book so we can say whether we can reach them.

What’s Included vs. What’s a Bigger Job
Our standard scope is high-touch areas wiped down, the exterior of appliances, floors vacuumed and mopped, and trash (one bag), and deep cleaning adds the inside of the oven, fridge, and microwave. Ceiling fans and vent covers are not part of either, so ask before booking whether they can be added. We do not clean inside ductwork. Duct cleaning is a job for an HVAC company.
