How do I find out what my cleaning will cost?
Price depends on your home size. A standard visit costs $135 for a studio, $145 for a 1BR and $195 for a 2BR. Bigger homes and add-ons cost more. Call or text (571) 350-0866 with your home size. We will tell you the price before you book.
Where do you clean?
Arlington, VA is where we started. Ashburn, VA is our next area. We also clean all over Northern Virginia. That includes McLean, Vienna and Falls Church. Do you live somewhere else? Call and ask.
Do I have to be home while you clean?
No. You can leave how to get in and do other things that day. Our company has a license and insurance. Want to be home? Tell us when you book.
What is actually done during a standard visit?
Four things. We wipe down places you touch a lot and the outside of appliances. We vacuum and mop your floors and take out the trash. That is all we do in a standard visit. You can add more when you book.
Should I have cleaning products ready?
Ask us what to have on hand when you book, and we will tell you. If someone at home is allergic to something, let us know then.
What does a deep clean add to a standard visit?
The standard list plus the inside of the oven, fridge and microwave. Deep cleaning starts at $210 for a studio, $220 for a 1BR and $270 for a 2BR.
What schedule makes sense for my household?
Weekly or biweekly visits suit most homes. On a tight budget, try a monthly standard visit and a deep clean now and then. Repeat visits cost less: 15% off weekly, 10% off biweekly and 5% off monthly.
How quickly can you get to me?

Standard or deep clean: which should I book first?
A standard visit keeps up a home that is already in decent shape. If the inside of your oven, fridge and microwave needs work, book a deep clean first. Then switch to standard visits.
What does a move-in or move-out clean include?
It includes all of a deep clean. We also clean inside all cabinets and drawers when your home is empty. Move-in or move-out cleaning costs $285 for a studio, $295 for a 1BR and $345 for a 2BR. Tell us when you move in or out when you book.
Do you clean offices?
Yes, we clean small offices and suites. We wipe places you touch a lot, vacuum and mop the floors and take out the trash. Restrooms, kitchens and other jobs cost more. We add them to your price. Your price depends on your space size and layout.
Can you turn over a short-term rental between guests?
Yes. A turnover means we do a standard clean. Changing sheets and restocking things cost more. Turnovers start at $135 for a studio, $145 for a 1BR and $195 for a 2BR. Tell us when guests check out and in. We will tell you if we can do it.
What happens if I need to cancel or reschedule?
Cancel more than 24 hours ahead and there is no charge. Cancel within 24 hours, or miss the visit because we cannot get in, and you pay 50% of the service cost. We may review a fee waiver for a documented emergency.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes, Arlington Home Cleaning is licensed and insured.
What payment methods do you take?
You can pay with a credit card or debit card when you book on our website. Call us if you want to pay another way.
What is the price for each service?
Standard: studio $135+, 1BR $145+, 2BR $195+. Deep cleaning: $210+, $220+, $270+. Move-in or move-out: $285+, $295+, $345+. Airbnb turnover: $135+, $145+, $195+. These are starting prices. A bigger home or add-ons cost more.
Is there a discount for repeat service?
Yes. Weekly service saves 15%. Every two weeks saves 10%. Monthly saves 5% off standard pricing.
Is tipping expected?
Tipping is not required. If you want to say thank you to your cleaner, you can do that. It is your choice.
My appointment falls on a holiday. What now?
Contact the office and we will find another time that fits your week.
Will I get the same cleaner every visit?
We try to send the same cleaner each time when we can. We cannot promise it. A larger home may need more than one cleaner.
