What Gets Cleaned vs. What Gets Handled Carefully
In a media room, a standard visit works the same way as any room. Things people touch get wiped down. Floors get vacuumed and mopped. Trash goes out. Dusting shelves and equipment is an add-on, so ask for it when you book. We are more careful with electronics like receivers, projectors, speakers, and wires. We won’t take equipment apart. We won’t blow air into vents. We won’t move parts on a rack. That work is for you or an AV technician who knows your setup. If you want the inside of a projector or receiver dusted out, do it yourself or hire a specialist. Don’t ask us.
Upholstery and Recliner Seating
Theater-style recliner seats, whether leather, fake leather, or fabric, need cleaning more often. That’s because people eat snacks and drinks in those seats. Crumbs and spills collect in the seams and cupholder inserts. We can wipe the outside surfaces. But we don’t clean stains on the seats during a standard visit. Even our deep cleaning only adds the inside of the oven, fridge and microwave. Ask us before assuming it’s covered.
How Often a Media Room Actually Needs Attention
These rooms don’t get walked through as much as a kitchen or main room. Some people want to skip them. Don’t do that. Dust sits longer in a room people don’t walk through.
