High-Rise Living Changes the Visit
A condo in Rosslyn, Pentagon City, or Crystal City has front desks, elevators, and visitor rules. The layout is different from a house. These things change how we plan a visit.
Building Access Comes First
Most high-rises want a check-in, a visitor log, or a fob from the person living there. Guest parking is often tight and may need a permit. Tell the front desk ahead of time, or leave a fob with the concierge. This way, we use the time cleaning, not waiting at the door.
Open Layouts
Newer units in Crystal City and Pentagon City often have an open kitchen that connects to the living room. There are fewer walls to clean around. But cooking grease can get on nearby surfaces. In a closed kitchen, it stays in the kitchen.
Floor-to-Ceiling Windows
Big glass walls are why many people love Rosslyn and Crystal City. But they show every smudge and water spot in the sun. Window glass is not part of our Standard or Deep Clean. It is an add-on. Ask for it if your unit has a window wall.
Wall Units and Air Quality
Some buildings have AC units under the windows. Older buildings in Rosslyn and Crystal City often have them. They are easy to forget. If you have allergies, tell us. These might not be part of a standard cleaning.
Balconies
Many units have a balcony. Outdoor dust and pollen can blow in and settle on the door track and the floor nearby. A balcony is an add-on, not part of the base visit. Flag it if you want it done.
Check Your Building Rules
Some buildings limit service elevator use or contractor hours. A few ask for proof of insurance filed with the property manager. Ask your building before your first visit. Once it is set up, you should not have to do it again.
Cleaning Between Tenants
Rosslyn, Pentagon City, and Crystal City have many rentals. The Pentagon, Amazon HQ2, and the Metro to DC are close by. If you are a landlord, a move-out clean works great between leases. It cleans inside cabinets and appliances when the unit is empty. A regular clean does not do that.
