If you’re already a recurring cleaning customer and you’re moving to a new home within Arlington, Ashburn, or elsewhere in our Northern Virginia service area, you don’t need to cancel your plan and start over from scratch as a new customer. But there are a few moving parts to coordinate so nothing falls through the cracks between the two addresses.
Two Cleanings, Two Purposes
A move typically involves two separate cleaning needs, and it’s worth treating them as two separate bookings rather than trying to combine them:
- A move-out clean at your current home — cleaning the empty space at the end of your time there, whether you are handing it to a new owner, a tenant, or your landlord.
- A move-in clean at your new home — cleaning the new space before your furniture and boxes arrive, which is simpler than cleaning around them afterward.
Each is priced separately by home size, starting at $285+ for a studio, $295+ for a 1BR, and $345+ for a 2BR. A move-out clean builds on a deep clean and adds the inside of cabinets and drawers in the vacant home, which a recurring standard visit does not cover.
Updating Your Recurring Plan
Once you’re settled into the new address, your recurring plan needs to be updated with the new location, and possibly re-quoted if the new home is a different size or layout than your old one. A few things affect the new quote:
- Square footage and room count compared to your previous home
- Whether the new address is still within our service area
- Any change in frequency you’d like going forward
The easiest way to handle this is to tell us your move date and new address as early as you can, even before the move happens, so the transition can be planned instead of rushed at the last minute.

Our primary service area is Arlington, VA, with Ashburn, VA as a secondary area, and general coverage across Northern Virginia. If your move is taking you within this region, updating your plan starts with a quick call or message. If you’re moving outside our service area entirely, let us know and we can talk through a final move-out clean at the old address. Timing the Two Visits
Move dates are often tight, and coordinating a move-out clean at one address and a move-in clean at another in the same week takes some planning. A few tips that tend to make this smoother:
- Book both visits once you have firm dates, since moves often cluster at the end of the month and in summer
- Schedule the move-in clean for the new home before delivery day if at all possible — an empty space is simpler to clean
- Let us know if either address needs the visit scheduled around a specific access window, like a leasing office handoff time or a closing appointment

What Stays the Same
Recurring discounts are 15% weekly, 10% biweekly, and 5% monthly. When you move, ask us to re-quote your plan at the new address and confirm the frequency you want.
