Some first-time customers book a deep clean expecting it to preview every future visit. It is a bigger one-time visit, and recurring visits are smaller. This post explains how the two differ so you know what to expect.

A Deep Clean Is a Reset, Not a Maintenance Visit

A deep clean is our standard scope plus the inside of the oven, the inside of the fridge, and the inside of the microwave. That makes it a good fit if it has been a while since a professional cleaning, or if the home has never had one. Pricing is tiered by home size: $210+ for a studio, $220+ for a 1BR, and $270+ for a 2BR. Many first-time customers start with a deep clean before moving to a recurring schedule, though a standard visit is also an option.

What Changes Once You Move to Recurring Service

Recurring visits use our standard scope: high-touch areas wiped down, the exterior of appliances, floors vacuumed and mopped, and trash removal (one bag). Standard cleaning starts at $135+ for a studio, $145+ for a 1BR, and $195+ for a 2BR, on whatever cadence you choose. The oven, fridge, and microwave interiors from a deep clean are not part of a standard visit, so some customers book another deep clean from time to time.

Recurring Discounts

Once you move to a recurring schedule, pricing works differently than a one-off visit. We offer a 15% discount for weekly service, 10% for biweekly, and 5% for monthly, applied to your recurring rate. This is part of why most clients find it worthwhile to commit to some kind of ongoing schedule after their first deep clean, rather than booking standard cleanings one at a time with no set cadence.

How Long the First Deep Clean Actually Takes

A deep clean covers more than a standard visit, so it takes longer. If you were expecting a quick in-and-out visit like a recurring appointment, plan for more time on that first day. We will go over timing with you when you book.

What to Expect Right After the Deep Clean

If you move to recurring service afterward, your first standard visit will cover less than the deep clean did, because it uses the standard scope. That is how the service is set up, not a sign that anything was skipped. If your household has pets or heavier everyday use, mention it when you set up your cadence so we can talk through how often to add a deep clean.

Deciding Between a One-Time Deep Clean and Ongoing Recurring Service

Some clients only need a single deep clean for a specific event or milestone and have no plans for recurring visits. Others use the deep clean specifically as the launching point for ongoing service. Neither approach is wrong, but they lead to different expectations for what happens next. Our post on one-time versus recurring cleaning walks through how to decide which fits your situation.
