Our other posts describe what a visit includes. This one lists what we do not do, so nobody is surprised on cleaning day: cars, outdoor spaces, and how we handle garages.
Vehicles
We don’t clean cars, inside or out. Detailing a vehicle, inside or out, is its own trade with its own tools and products, and none of our service tiers include it.
Exterior and Outdoor Spaces
Our service is focused on the interior of your home. We don’t offer pressure washing, gutter cleaning, siding washing, deck or patio cleaning, or yard and landscaping work. That work needs different equipment than interior cleaning, so for it you’ll want an exterior home maintenance company. It isn’t part of a standard or deep cleaning visit.
Garages: A Bit More Nuanced
A garage is a gray area. It isn’t part of a standard visit, since a standard clean is built around the rooms people use every day, such as the kitchen, bathrooms, and bedrooms. A garage is attached to the house, though, so if you want it looked at, ask when you book and we’ll tell you what we can do for it. Please don’t assume it is included. What We Do Cover Instead
Inside the home, we clean the kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms, living areas, and home office. A standard visit wipes high-touch areas and appliance exteriors, vacuums and mops the floors, and takes out one bag of trash. A deep clean adds the inside of the oven, fridge, and microwave, and a move-out clean of a vacant home adds the inside of the cabinets and drawers. Basements can be added if you ask.
Why We Draw These Lines
We clean the inside of homes, and we would rather say no to a car or a driveway than agree to something we don’t do. Those jobs call for other equipment and other kinds of insurance, and a company that does them regularly is the better choice.
What This Means for Booking
If your request includes anything outside interior home cleaning, a car detail thrown in with a move-out clean, or a driveway pressure wash alongside a standard visit, you’ll need a separate provider for those parts. Tell us what you have in mind when you ask for a quote and we’ll say what we can take on. If you aren’t sure whether something is included, ask before the visit. It takes a minute on the phone and saves a misunderstanding on cleaning day.
