Have a piano, guitar area, or home studio? You might worry if the cleaner will touch your instruments. Here is what we clean in your music room and what we don’t touch.
Why Music Rooms Are Different
Piano and guitar finishes can get damaged by regular cleaners. Each instrument needs special care. Instruments cost a lot and are set up just right, so owners usually want them left alone.
What a Visit Covers
- Floors — vacuumed and mopped around stands and instruments, without moving them.
- High-touch areas — wiped as in any other room of the home.
We do not clean shelves, music stands, instrument cases, or windows as part of standard cleaning. If you want these cleaned, tell us when you book.
What Stays With the Owner
We do not clean or polish piano keys, lids, guitars, drums, cymbals, or amplifiers. Wood instruments can get hurt by moisture. Instrument care is different from house cleaning. A piano tuner can dust inside during a regular tune.
Humidity
Northern Virginia humidity changes a lot from season to season. This matters for pianos and acoustic guitars. If you have a humidifier or dehumidifier for your instruments, we leave it alone.

Acoustic Panels and Rugs
Foam panels, heavy curtains, and rugs are not part of standard cleaning. Rugs are vacuumed with the floors if needed. For panels or curtains, tell us when you book so we can talk about it first. Foam tears easily, so we ask you first.

If you have a music room or a piano, tell us when you book. Standard cleaning starts at $135+ for a studio. Get 15% off if you book weekly, 10% off every two weeks, or 5% off monthly.
